Beer with someone from History : Jonny Stensby
Jonny has done one with Adam and Eve and Nostradamus. Pop around and read. This post appeals to my sense of humour. How about some more contributions!! Anybody, just do it, let me know so we can all share. I don't want to tag people. Give it a go.
Thanx Graham! It was a fun challenge!! I'll ransack my mind to see if there are anybody else from history that I would want to have a beer with. Must be passionate about it and have something to discuss with them though... Have to be prepared and have something sensible to say and not just stand there, gape, and look like a fool (celebrity block)!! LOL
I keep trying to think of someone I would like to drink with back in time, but so far no one has come to mind. Honestly, I think I'd say my grandfather -- who passed away long before I was born. Thanks for stopping by my blog, by the way!
The posts in this blog, specifically those relating to mytholgy and meanings and origins of words, are the result of looking up stuff that I find intersting. These posts must be taken at face value, and hopefully serve as a catalyst to dig further for greater insight. Constructive comments would be appreciated but not expected. Definitions from Britannica World Language edition of the Oxford Dictionary, unless otherwise stated
Not till the loom is silent And the shuttle cease to fly Shall God unroll the canvas And explain the reason why The dark threads are as needfulI n the weavers skilful hand As the threads of gold and silver In the pattern he has planned
